China Urges U.S. to Abandon 'Hegemonic Mentality' Amid Rising Tensions

Beijing, March 26 - China's foreign ministry has called on the United States to cease viewing China through a "hegemonic mentality." This statement follows U.S. assertions that China poses a primary military and cyber threat. According to ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun, the U.S. is propagating the "China threat" theory as a means to contain and suppress China's growth. Guo also urged the U.S. to stop supporting Taiwan's independence movement.
