British consumer morale saw a slight increase for the second consecutive month in March, according to a recent survey. The GfK Consumer Confidence Index rose to -19 from -20, reaching a three-month high. While consumers expressed slightly more optimism about the overall economic outlook for the next 12 months, their confidence in their personal finances remained subdued. The survey, conducted between February 28 and March 13, polled 2,005 Britons aged 16 and over. The results come as Finance Minister Rachel Reeves prepares to announce new economic and budget forecasts next week.
