Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Jeddah will host a meeting between the United States and Ukraine next week. The specific date was not disclosed. The kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to achieving a lasting peace to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, noting its ongoing efforts over the past three years, including organizing numerous related meetings. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski stated he will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman on March 7, 2025. Following this meeting, his team will remain in Saudi Arabia to collaborate with U.S. partners. The U.S. delegation is expected to include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
