Severe Weather Threatens Millions Across the US: Tornadoes, Hail, and Damaging Winds Expected

Millions of people in the United States, from the Plains to the Southeast and up the East Coast, are bracing for a multi-day severe weather outbreak. Forecasters are warning of large hail, damaging wind gusts, and potential tornadoes. On Tuesday, over 41 million people from eastern Texas and Oklahoma to western Georgia and the Florida Panhandle are at risk. A level 3 out of 5 risk has been issued for more than 3.5 million people in southern Arkansas, northern and central Louisiana, and central and southern Mississippi. Cities in the threat zone include Shreveport, Monroe, and Bossier City in Louisiana, Pine Bluff in Arkansas, and Jackson in Mississippi. The severe weather threat is expected to continue into Wednesday, impacting over 67 million people along the East Coast from the Southeast to the mid-Atlantic. A level 2 out of 5 threat has been issued from southeastern Georgia to southeastern Pennsylvania, including cities like Baltimore, Washington, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Wilmington, Raleigh, Myrtle Beach, and Savannah.
