Israel and Hamas Finalize Prisoner Exchange as Ceasefire Nears End

Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement to exchange the bodies of four hostages for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. This exchange marks the final swap under the six-week ceasefire agreement, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the US in January, which is set to conclude this weekend. During the truce, Hamas released 25 Israeli and five Thai hostages, along with the bodies of eight others, in exchange for the release of thousands of jailed Palestinians.
