EPA Submits California's 2035 Gasoline Car Ban to Congress for Review

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has submitted the Biden administration's approval of California's plan to end the sale of gasoline-only vehicles by 2035 to Congress for review. This action, initiated under the Trump administration, allows the Republican-led Congress to potentially repeal the decision under the Congressional Review Act. Former President Trump had previously pledged to overturn California's EV mandates and stricter emission standards, which have been adopted by 11 other states.
