US liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports have reached a record high, driven by increased production from new projects. On Tuesday, pipeline gas flows to LNG export plants climbed to 15.7 billion cubic feet, according to BloombergNEF data. This figure represents an all-time high and is almost 20% greater than the corresponding period last year. This surge in exports could potentially alleviate high prices in Europe and Asia.
