Chisinau, Moldova - January 27, 2025: Moldova, in collaboration with the European Union, has developed an emergency plan to address the energy crisis in the pro-Russian breakaway region of Transnistria, which has been exacerbated by the cessation of Russian gas supplies. Prime Minister Dorin Recean emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that the primary goal is to 'immediately end the humanitarian crisis' in the region.
The plan aims to provide additional support to all citizens of Moldova and to foster long-term development and resilience within the nation's energy sector.
