Belarusian President Grants Pardon to 20 Convicted of Extremism

On December 28, 2024, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced the pardon of 20 individuals previously convicted of extremism. According to state media, all pardoned individuals had submitted requests for clemency and expressed remorse for their actions.
