In 2025, approximately 5,000 Germans relocated to Poland. Notably, during the same period, more Poles returned from Germany to their homeland than migrated in the opposite direction. Although Poland still trails traditional German emigration hubs such as Switzerland, Austria, and Spain, it has firmly secured its place as a significant destination for Germans seeking a new life.
