On July 18, 2025, SpaceX successfully launched 24 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 8:52 p.m. local time, deploying the satellites into low Earth orbit approximately nine minutes later. This mission marked the 88th Falcon 9 launch of 2025, underscoring SpaceX's ongoing efforts to expand its Starlink network.

The launch was conducted from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket completed its 14th mission by landing on the autonomous droneship "Of Course I Still Love You" stationed in the Pacific Ocean. This achievement highlights SpaceX's commitment to rocket reusability and cost reduction in space operations.

With this addition, the Starlink network now includes over 7,965 active satellites, contributing to global broadband internet coverage. SpaceX's Starlink service aims to provide high-speed internet access to underserved and remote regions worldwide, enhancing connectivity and bridging the digital divide.

The successful deployment of these satellites reflects SpaceX's continued progress in satellite technology and its dedication to expanding global internet access through its Starlink constellation.
