Critical Software Invests in Turion Space to Advance Space Domain Awareness and Sidus Space Enhances FeatherEdge Platform for 30 Gbps Data Transfer

Critical Software has announced a strategic investment in Turion Space, aiming to advance solutions for the space economy. This partnership combines Critical Software's expertise in mission-critical software with Turion's engineering solutions, including the Droid-01 satellite and StarFire OS.

The collaboration focuses on space domain awareness and non-Earth imaging. Critical Software's platforms, Karvel and Lighthouse, will support Turion's capabilities in LEO missions, satellite inspections, and debris removal. The partnership will also facilitate Critical Software's expansion into the European market and Turion's growth in the U.S.

Separately, Sidus Space is enhancing its FeatherEdge platform to support 30 Gbps data transfer rates. This upgrade will enable on-orbit data processing, reducing transmission costs and improving mission efficiency. The technology supports applications such as autonomous spacecraft functions and secure cloud services.
