NASA Astronauts Connect with New York Students Aboard the ISS: STEM Focus

NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers will engage with students from Richmond Hill, New York, from the International Space Station. The astronauts will answer prerecorded STEM-related questions during a 20-minute space-to-Earth call. The event will be streamed on NASA+ on Wednesday, March 26, at 12 p.m. EDT. Hosted by Richmond Hill High School, the event aims to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. For over 24 years, astronauts have continuously lived and worked on the ISS, conducting research and testing technologies. This work supports future missions, including NASA's Artemis program, which aims to send astronauts to the Moon and prepare for Mars exploration.
