ESA to Host Conference on European Human Spaceflight Ambitions; Space 42 Focuses on Hybrid Connectivity and AI-Driven Geospatial Analytics

The European Space Agency (ESA) will host the third conference in the "Rencontres en apESAnteur" cycle on February 28th at its Paris headquarters. This conference will explore European ambitions for human spaceflight, including missions to the International Space Station and lunar orbit and surface.

Space 42 is establishing itself as a leader in the space sector through hybrid connectivity, satellite imagery, and AI-driven geospatial analytics. Managing Director Karim Michel Sabbagh detailed a strategy built on early adoption of technologies, rapid innovation scaling, and industry collaboration.

Space 42 is also pursuing a multi-orbit strategy to support direct-to-device (D2D) satellite connectivity, bridging mobile networks with satellite communications. The UAE's Space Strategy 2030 drives Space 42's initiatives, emphasizing national talent development, technology transfer, and international partnerships.
