July 1, 2025, Shenyang, China: EVE Energy launched a new production base in Liaoning Province, focusing on cold-resistant lithium batteries.

The 10-billion-yuan (1.4 billion USD) facility will produce low-temperature, high-density, and reliable energy storage batteries.

This addresses the critical issue of battery performance in cold regions.

EVE Energy also unveiled a research center dedicated to lithium battery applications in cold climates.

The center aims to improve battery performance, including charge-discharge efficiency, through new materials and technologies.

It will also support the green energy transformation in Northeast China.

The Tiexi District, where the base is located, is a hub for new energy vehicles, with 450 key projects worth 181.6 billion yuan.

EVE Energy's expansion aligns with its global strategy, having established seven regional headquarters, including one in Northeast China, in January 2024.

Cold weather significantly impacts battery performance, reducing capacity and efficiency.

This initiative strengthens EVE Energy's position and advances green energy solutions globally.
