April 22, Turkiye: Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof met with Turkiye's Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz to discuss energy transition cooperation.
Fadillah also met with Turkiye's Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar to explore potential collaboration in energy transition, following the exchange of letters of intent between Malaysia and Turkiye.
Turkiye generates over 50% of its electricity from clean energy sources like solar, hydroelectric, and geothermal.
Fadillah will attend the Summit on the Future of Energy Security in London from April 24-25, focusing on energy security, supply stability, and technological advancements.
The summit will address energy security risks and opportunities, highlighting Malaysia's Energy Transition Roadmap and commitment to clean energy.
