  • Madrid, Spain: Holcim, IGNIS P2X, and Exolum collaborate on ECO2FLY, a CO2 circular economy project.

  • The project aims to capture over 700,000 tons of CO2 annually at Holcim's Villaluenga de la Sagra (Toledo) facility.

  • The captured CO2, combined with green hydrogen, will produce approximately 100,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) per year.

  • ECO2FLY anticipates avoiding over 6.5 million tons of CO2 emissions in its first 10 years.

  • The eSAF is designed to directly replace conventional kerosene without aircraft or infrastructure modifications.
