Wuzhong, China Achieves 63.59% New Energy Capacity, Driving Grid Innovation and Expansion for Enhanced Renewable Integration

WUZHONG, China, March 28, 2025 - State Grid Wuzhong Power Supply Company reports that new energy installed capacity in the Wuzhong area has reached 13.2916 million kilowatts, constituting 63.59% of the total installed power supply capacity. The company is advancing grid infrastructure by coordinating multi-level grids from 35 kV to 750 kV, including seven 750-kV substations and ten 330-kV transmission projects. A buyback mechanism for grid connection projects has been implemented to alleviate investment pressures on new energy enterprises. Future plans include enhancing grid support capabilities, expanding new energy consumption channels, and applying grid-based energy storage technologies to improve grid safety and reliability.
