Lithuania Invests €3.3B in Renewable Energy

January 16, 2025, Lithuania – Amber Grid, the Lithuanian gas transmission system operator, has approved a strategy involving investments of €3.3 billion through 2035.

The majority of funds will focus on renewable energy infrastructure, including the establishment of a green hydrogen corridor and a carbon dioxide (CO2) transportation ecosystem. Additionally, the plan includes upgrades to the existing gas transmission network to enhance resilience.

Funding will primarily derive from EU and international sources, alongside optimized debt and equity capital structures.
