Opera Mini now features the Aria AI chatbot, expanding access to users on less powerful devices. Aria, already available on Opera's PC and main mobile versions, functions like an integrated ChatGPT. It offers web information retrieval, article summarization, and image creation within the browser. Opera's Aria, powered by the Composer AI engine, combines OpenAI and Google technologies, including Imagen3 for image generation. Users can access Aria from the main menu to engage in conversations, request summaries, and generate custom images. Since its 2023 launch, Aria has been updated to provide intelligent searches and contextual suggestions. Opera Mini, known for its data efficiency, has surpassed 1 billion downloads on the Play Store, making Aria accessible to a broader global audience.
