This partnership allows NEC to resell Cisco's private 5G core network and management solutions, integrating them with its own consultancy services and validated radio access network (RAN) equipment.
Dubbed an 'end-to-end' private 5G solution, the offering is designed to cater to various industries, including logistics, warehousing, and airport management. Enterprises will benefit from customized networks that optimize performance and security, with lower latency suitable for applications in industrial IoT and automation.
NEC's approach includes not only direct sales to enterprises but also leveraging mobile operator partnerships for deployment and management of private 5G infrastructure.
