Huawei Launches Laptops With Harmony Operating System

Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

Huawei has launched two new laptop models. These are the first laptops sold with Huawei's Harmony operating system. This move challenges Western tech giants like Microsoft and Apple. The Harmony OS aims to compete with Windows and macOS. These operating systems have dominated the global market for decades. The launch occurs despite U.S. efforts to restrict Huawei's access to essential chips. China's development of computer operating systems has lagged. This is despite its leading position in tech hardware production. Huawei's Harmony OS represents a significant step towards closing this gap.
