Equal1 (Ireland) has developed Bell-1, a silicon-based quantum computer designed for standard data center racks.
Bell-1 weighs approximately 200 kg and requires a standard 110-220V power outlet, consuming 1600W.
Unlike other quantum computers, Bell-1 uses silicon qubits, leveraging existing semiconductor manufacturing for cost reduction.
It incorporates a closed-cycle cooler, reaching 0.3K (-272.85 °C) for qubit operation without large dilution refrigerators.
Bell-1 achieves qubit operation fidelities exceeding 99%, enabling reliable quantum algorithm execution.
The UnityQ chip combines quantum qubits with ARM processors and AI units for integrated control and data analysis.
Potential applications include financial modeling, pharmaceutical research, and materials science.
