Megogo Adapts Content for Apple Vision Pro

Megogo became the first Ukrainian media service to adapt its content for the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset. The new MEGOGO VR application is available to users in Ukraine and beyond, supporting Ukrainian and English languages. The application allows users to watch movies, series, and TV channels in mixed reality (MR), combining digital content with the real world. Apple Vision Pro users gain a spatial arrangement of "windows" in the physical space, gesture and eye control, high-definition picture, and spatial sound without needing a remote or physical screens. For watching movies, this means creating your own personal "cinema" anywhere. Visually, it provides the effect of a huge screen in front of your eyes, with the ability to leave the surrounding space in view or fully immerse yourself in the video. Spatial sound synchronizes with head position, creating the impression of real presence. The application version corresponds to Meta Quest (launched in 2024): more than 100,000 hours of video, from blockbusters and series to exclusive premieres and live broadcasts of TV channels. From a technical point of view, this is another platform for content consumption. From the user's side, it is the ability to watch favorite films on a screen that does not physically exist, but looks better than most real ones. Apple Vision Pro is a mixed reality headset that combines virtual (VR) and augmented reality (AR) capabilities. Introduced in 2023, it uses the visionOS platform and operates as a spatial computer, allowing applications to be placed in a real environment and controlled with eye movements, voice, and gestures. The device features two micro-displays with over 23 million pixels, 3D audio with spatial sound, eye, hand, and face tracking, and the ability to see the real world through cameras. This provides deep immersion without detaching from reality. Vision Pro operates on M2 and R1 chips, has an external battery, and supports keyboard and trackpad connections. It is designed for content viewing, working with virtual screens, gaming, and video calls with full 3D presence.
