The Lenovo ThinkPad X9 breaks from tradition by removing the iconic red TrackPoint. This model embraces a more modern design while maintaining ThinkPad's durability. Featuring an aluminum chassis, the ThinkPad X9 weighs 1.24 kg and is 1.3 cm thick. It meets MIL-STD-810H standards for durability. The laptop includes a backlit keyboard, and a haptic glass touchpad. The device has limited ports: one HDMI 2.1, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4, and a combo jack. The tested configuration includes an 8 MP 4K webcam. It also features Dolby Atmos speakers, though positioned on the chassis's underside. The 14-inch OLED display supports 2880 x 1800 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display covers 167% of the sRGB and 112% of the DCI-P3 color spaces. Brightness reaches 508 cd/m², and the contrast ratio is very high. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, the laptop has 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The processor scores 534 in Cinebench 2024 multi-core and 120 in single-core tests. It also scores 3237 on 3DMark Steel Nomad Light. The NPU achieves 1362 points in AI integer calculations, supporting Copilot+ features. The 55 Wh battery provides 11-12 hours of battery life during typical office use. The laptop is available starting at 1628.90 euros, with the tested configuration priced at 2608.91 euros in France.
