Samsung's Premiere 5 projector, initially unveiled at CES, is now available in South Korea. It's priced at KRW 1.99 million (approximately $1,380). This ultra-short throw projector creates a 100" image from 43cm away. The projector can project onto walls, floors, or tables. It features touch functionality via an infrared laser module and camera, enabling a giant touchscreen. Screen mirroring from smartphones and tablets is supported, including Samsung DeX. Premiere 5 uses Vision Booster technology, adjusting contrast, color, and brightness based on ambient lighting. Auto Keystone correction is also included. The projector supports SmartThings for smart home device control and runs Tizen OS, offering access to Gaming Hub with Xbox, GeForce Now, and Luna. It projects a 1080p image using a triple laser system rated for 20,000 hours. HDR10+ is supported. Connectivity includes two micro HDMI ports (one with eARC), one USB-C, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2.
