Chery has revealed the Omoda C7 crossover SUV at MAS 2025. It will be the first vehicle marketed under the Omoda | Jaecoo rebrand.
The C7 features sharp LED headlights, a honeycomb grille, and zig-zag LED tail lights. Dimensions include a 2,700 mm wheelbase, 4,621 mm length, 1,827 mm width, and 1,673 mm height.
A hybrid variant will be available, likely featuring Chery's Super Hybrid System (SHS) with plug-in hybrid (PHEV) capability. The hybrid is expected to use a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with an electric motor, producing 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque, enabling 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
The electric drive is expected to be powered by an 18.3-kWh BYD battery. This should deliver up to 95 km of electric range and over 1,250 km of total range (WLTP standards).
Local availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed.
