Volvo Recalls 450,000 Cars for Backup Camera Software Glitch

Volvo is issuing a software update to address a backup camera issue affecting numerous vehicles. The recall primarily targets the US and Canada. The backup camera may fail to display an image on the car's screen in certain situations. The recall affects 450,000 vehicles. The affected models include Volvo C40, XC40, S60, V60, V60 Cross Country, XC60, S90, V90, V90 Cross Country, and XC90. Models EX30 and EX90 are excluded. The software update will be delivered over the air, eliminating the need for a service visit. Polestar 2 vehicles are also affected, with nearly 28,000 units being recalled in the US.
