Nissan Cuts Rogue SUV Production in Japan Amid US Tariff Impact

Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

Nissan plans to decrease Rogue SUV production in Japan from May to July 2025 due to US import tariffs. The production cut at the Kyushu facility will total 13,000 units. This reduction represents over a fifth of the Rogue vehicles sold in the US during Q1. Employees at the Kyushu plant will face reduced working hours. Nissan will reassess production plans based on future tariff developments.
