Volkswagen introduces the Tera, a budget-friendly compact crossover, featuring a distinctive design and comprehensive equipment. The new Volkswagen Tera is now in production and entering the market, aiming to be the most affordable Volkswagen crossover available in 25 countries, priced between $17,200 and $24,000. Built on the VW Polo hatchback platform, the four-meter Volkswagen Tera boasts an athletic design with short body overhangs and prominent wheel arches, resembling the new Volkswagen Tiguan. The interior features a steering wheel, digital instrument panel, and switchgear similar to the Volkswagen Polo. The Highline variant includes diode headlights, keyless entry, climate control, a 10.25-inch sensor display, parktronic, wireless smartphone charging, and various safety systems. Initially, the Volkswagen Tera 2025 will offer a 1.0-liter 116-hp gasoline turbo engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. A less powerful version with a manual gearbox may be available later, further reducing the crossover's cost.
