Xiaomi's YU7 Electric SUV Targets Tesla with 770km Range

Xiaomi's YU7, an electric crossover SUV, is set to launch this summer with a driving range of up to 770 kilometers (478 miles). This positions it as a direct competitor to Tesla's Model Y. The YU7 will be Xiaomi's first SUV, combining traditional crossover features with an electric drivetrain. It will be available in multiple range options, including 675 km and 760 km. The vehicle qualifies for purchase tax breaks. Tesla's refreshed Model Y offers a long-range variant with 719 km range.
