Tesla Issues Software Update for Power Steering Recall Affecting 376,241 Vehicles
Tesla has released a software update to fix a power steering issue affecting 376,241 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. The recall, initiated due to a potential overstress condition in the electronic power steering assist's circuit board, could cause a temporary loss of power steering, especially at low speeds. The update (version 2023.38.4 or later) is available over-the-air and free of charge. Owners will receive notification letters by March 25.
