New Delhi is at the forefront of India's educational transformation. The Central Square Foundation (CSF), supported by Google.org and IIT Madras's Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI (WSAI), has launched the AI Literacy Curriculum Framework for Students at the 'AI Samarth Conclave'. This initiative aims to empower over 5 million students, teachers, and parents across India with essential AI knowledge.

AI is rapidly changing society, influencing daily life and education. The 'AI Samarth' initiative addresses the need for awareness and responsible AI engagement. The curriculum aims to build fundamental AI awareness in students and cultivate critical thinking.

The AI literacy curriculum for educators will soon be released. It will focus on enhancing AI awareness and guiding students in its safe use. AI Samarth is also building an open-source content stack, including a multilingual video repository for self-learning.
