It aims to inspire ideas and generate soundscapes for music production. Lyria 2 produces high-fidelity audio outputs across various genres. The Lyria RealTime feature allows users to interact with the AI in a virtual studio, mixing and tweaking sounds in real time. These tools offer features like 'Create' for generating samples from text descriptions, 'Extend' for continuing existing pieces, and 'Edit' for reimagining music in different styles. All music generated by Lyria 2 and RealTime is watermarked using Google's SynthID technology. This ensures AI-generated tracks can be identified, addressing concerns about authenticity in the music industry. The platform is now more accessible, targeting a broader audience including film and game soundtrack creators.
