New York - LexisNexis launched the legal industry's first personalized voice AI assistant, Protégé, at the 2025 Legalweek conference. The enhanced version of Protégé aims to transform legal work by streamlining complex tasks.

Protégé integrates across the LexisNexis product ecosystem and with customer data via secure Document Management System (DMS) integration. Users can now ask legal questions, initiate drafting tasks, and request case law summarization using voice commands.

The voice-enabled AI simplifies use, allowing legal professionals to interact naturally with spoken language. Protégé also offers advanced AI-powered reasoning, enabling users to adjust the AI's approach for customized outcomes and improved document creation.
