MÜNCHEN - At the Next 25 conference, Google Cloud introduced a series of AI innovations designed to transform how businesses operate globally. Over four million developers are already using the Gemini model family, and Vertex AI usage has increased 20-fold in the last year. A key announcement was Ironwood, Google's 7th generation TPU, offering five times higher peak compute and six times higher memory bandwidth for efficient AI model operation. Google Cloud also expanded its platform with Lyria, providing generative media models for video, image, speech, and music. New AI features in Google Workspace enhance productivity in tools like Docs, Sheets, Meet, and Chat. Agentspace, a platform for discovering, creating, and using AI agents, was introduced, along with the Agent Development Kit (ADK), an open-source framework for agent development. Gemini 2.5 Flash, a low-latency, cost-effective model, will soon be available in Vertex AI. Google also launched Google Unified Security, an AI-powered security solution, and made its Cloud Wide Area Network (Cloud WAN) available to global enterprises.
