Midjourney Launches V7 AI Image Model with Enhanced Text Interpretation

Midjourney has released V7, a new AI image generation model, marking its first major update in nearly a year. The model, which is already in alpha, boasts improved text interpretation, higher image quality, and better coherence in generated details. Users must first evaluate 200 images to personalize the AI to their visual preferences. Midjourney CEO David Holz described V7 as a 'completely different architecture'. V7 includes a Draft Mode for faster, cheaper image generation, though some features like upscaling are still in development.
