Amira, a hyperrealistic AI robot, was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona.

Created by Engineered Arts in collaboration with e&, Amira stands out with its silicone skin, natural-looking hair, and ability to hold conversations using OpenAI's GPT-4 technology. Equipped with facial recognition software and microphones, Amira can react to human interaction with a range of expressions, from smiles to expressions of annoyance.

While Amira cannot walk, its articulated arms, head, and torso allow for convincing movements. Amira's lifelike appearance and conversational AI have made it a highlight of the event, showcasing advancements in robotics and AI interaction.
