Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is set to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its school curriculum, starting from the upcoming academic year. This initiative aims to introduce AI concepts to students from grades 1 to 9 across Riyadh's schools. The program includes tailored AI content developed in collaboration with Bangalore-based Exstep Foundation, focusing on AI tools and platforms. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to enhance educational offerings and equip students with future-ready skills. The government plans to distribute free AI-related textbooks to approximately 220,000 students in Riyadh.
