The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in collaboration with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, will hold the second edition of the conference titled "Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities Amid Challenges" from December 2 to 3.
The conference will explore the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on enhancing entrepreneurship in green sectors, the launch and success of early-stage startups, and the accessibility of AI for all. It will also discuss the influence of AI on the infrastructure of information centers.
In the creative arts, topics will include the integration of cognitive neuroscience with interior design, the relationship between human and machine intelligence, and the role of neuroscience in developing classroom designs, along with explorations of AI in artistic practices.
In education, the conference will highlight research experiences in developing educational environments using AI, practical steps to solve research problems, and the emergence of AI-driven digital universities. A workshop titled "How to Build a Distinctive Business Model in a Challenging Market" will also be offered.
The role of the Innovators and Talents Fund in enhancing the entrepreneurial environment in Egypt will be discussed, along with the interaction with AI. The healthcare segment will address existing challenges and inspiring stories about AI's role in public health policy in Africa, smart health, digital health, medical image processing, and the impact of AI on dentistry practices, including the use of chatbots as critical thinking partners online.
Additionally, the conference will cover smart homes and cities, discussing AI's role in smart transportation systems, customer service improvements in smart automotive service centers through the Internet of Things, and the integration of aquaculture with IoT. It will present a comprehensive approach to building resilient cities and various solutions for smart commercial and residential buildings. The conference will conclude with a workshop titled "Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Challenges."
