Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh secured a bronze medal at the World Championships in Nanjing, China. Despite competing with a leg injury, Mahuchikh achieved a jump of 1.95 meters, marking her best result of the season. This performance placed her behind Australians Nicola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson. Following her medal win, Mahuchikh resumed active training, sharing videos of her workouts on social media. She is now set to participate in the Continental Tour stage in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, on August 18. Mahuchikh will also compete at the UdinJump Development competition in Udine, Italy, on June 6, 2025. Before that, on September 9, she will participate in the Diamond League final. In the previous stage of the Diamond League in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, Mahuchikh triumphed with a jump of 1.99 meters. It is worth noting that Mahuchikh's seasonal record of 2.01 meters was matched by Olyslagers at the national championship in Perth.
