Bayaguana Gears Up for the 5th Félix Sánchez Classic: International Athletes to Compete on Saturday

The 5th Félix Sánchez Classic is set to take place this Saturday at the Luguelin Santos track in Bayaguana, Monte Plata. Organized by Félix Sánchez, the event will feature top athletes from over 15 nations. Competitions will include 100m, 200m, and 400m races, 400m hurdles, 100m and 110m hurdles, triple jump, shot put, and 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Olympic athletes such as Eduardo Rodríguez from Brazil and Lloydricia Cameron from Jamaica will participate, alongside Olympic medalist Alexander Ogando and Pan American medalist Yeral Núñez. Silver medalist in the 400 meters at the Paris Olympic Games, Salwa Eid Naser, as well as Olympic sprinters Ana C. Azevedo and Vitoria Rosa from Brazil, will also be present. The event is sanctioned by World Athletics and the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC). A live broadcast will be available via Panam Sport Channel. The competition is expected to generate significant excitement in the national athletics scene.
