Oleksandr Usyk's team manager, Sergey Lapin, has hinted at a potential MMA fight between the boxing heavyweight and Jake Paul. This comes as Usyk contemplates the later stages of his boxing career, despite still aiming for an undisputed heavyweight clash with Daniel Dubois. However, Dubois' illness led to the cancellation of their anticipated fight, opening doors for other opportunities. Lapin stated that Usyk is open to exploring new challenges, including an MMA bout with Paul, if the financial incentives are appealing. He also mentioned the possibility of a fight with Alex Pereira, potentially in partnership with Dana White. These discussions follow Jake Paul's challenge to Anthony Joshua, with Paul expressing confidence in defeating Joshua. While Paul has a contract with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), his MMA debut is delayed, possibly to set up a future blockbuster fight with Usyk. Usyk is scheduled to make his boxing comeback this summer, potentially influencing the timing of Paul's MMA debut. Joshua, seeking a new opponent after his defeat to Dubois, could also be considering a lucrative fight against Paul.
