Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded a Guinness World Record plaque for achieving the most wins in international football. The Portugal captain surpassed Sergio Ramos' previous record in November, reaching 132 international victories after Portugal's 5-1 win against Poland.
The official presentation of the award took place before Portugal's Nations League quarter-final second leg match against Denmark at Estadio Jose Alvalade. This recognition adds to Ronaldo's already extensive list of Guinness World Records.
Ronaldo's existing records include most goals in international football, being the first player to score 100 UEFA Champions League goals, and being the most-followed male on Instagram. Despite the honor, Ronaldo missed a penalty in the game following the presentation. He is scheduled to return to club duty with Al-Nassr on April 4 for a match against Al-Hilal.
