Bono's one-man show, *Stories of Surrender: An Evening of Words, Music and Some Mischief…*, has been reimagined into a film set to premiere on Apple TV+ on May 30, 2025. The film, directed by Andrew Dominik, offers a look into Bono's life as a son, father, husband, activist, and rock star. It includes exclusive footage from the Beacon Theatre shows and features Bono performing iconic U2 songs.

Bono also confirmed that U2 has been recording new material, with Larry Mullen Jr. actively involved after recovering from his injury. The band is aiming to capture the essence of a rock band in full flight, exploring new sounds while staying true to their roots.

In other news, U2 is planning to release a 30th-anniversary remaster of their collaboration with Brian Eno under the Passengers name, *Original Soundtracks 1*, on April 12, 2025, for Record Store Day.
