Nation of Language, the Brooklyn-based synth-pop trio featuring Ian Richard Devaney, Aidan Noell, and Alex MacKay, has officially signed with Sub Pop. To celebrate, the band has released a new single titled 'Inept Apollo,' accompanied by a music video directed by John MacKay.

Devaney describes 'Inept Apollo' as a reflection on work as a refuge from pain and the simultaneous experience of imposter syndrome during the artistic process. The music video captures the essence of being an artist in a city, showcasing the striving and continuous effort involved in creative endeavors.

In addition to the new single, Nation of Language has announced extensive international tour dates for the autumn of 2025, covering North America, the UK, and Europe. The UK and EU leg will begin on November 7 in Dublin and conclude on November 28 in Lisbon. Westerman will support the band on select UK/EU dates. Tickets are on sale to the general public since May 16.
