Morgan Wallen's new 37-song album, 'I'm the Problem,' was released on Friday, May 16, 2025. The album features collaborations with artists such as Post Malone and Tate McRae, alongside country music figures Eric Church, ERNEST, and HARDY. Wallen stated he maintained the approach from his last album, incorporating straight-up country songs, alternative-indie approaches, and cross-genre influences.
Wallen recorded 50 songs for 'I'm the Problem,' selecting 37 for the final cut, with him co-writing 22 of them. He highlighted 'Superman,' a song written for his son, Indigo, as a key track. Wallen addresses his past actions in 'Superman,' acknowledging the inevitability of his son learning about them and aiming to offer advice and protection through the song.
The album also features 'Genesis' and 'Revelation,' inspired by the Bible. Wallen co-wrote 'Genesis' after being inspired by 'Revelation,' exploring the themes of temptation and creation. Wallen's collaboration with Tate McRae, 'What I Want,' showcases her vocal range. He also praised Post Malone, emphasizing the honesty and collaboration in their relationship. Wallen's “I’m The Problem Tour” kicked off June 20, 2025, at NRG Stadium in Houston.
