Remembering the Hits

Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back," released in 1992, remains a defining anthem of the decade, celebrated for its body positivity and infectious beat. The Grammy-winning track reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts and continues to be a karaoke favorite.

Digable Planets' jazz-infused "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)," released in 1993, also left a significant mark, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning the group a Grammy Award. The song's unique sound and style continue to inspire artists today.
