This award recognizes her significant and lasting impact on music and popular culture over the past five decades. The event will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez.
Adding to the excitement, Jackson's 2001 hit, "Someone to Call My Lover," has recently seen a resurgence in popularity, driven by social media trends. The song reached #3 on the R&B Digital Songs chart and experienced a 1,400% increase in U.S. on-demand streams.
Las Vegas Residency
Prior to the AMAs, Jackson relaunched her Las Vegas residency, JANET JACKSON: LAS VEGAS, with six shows at Resorts World Theatre from May 21 through May 31. These shows follow her successful Together Again tour in 2023.
