Isaiah Hull, the innovative artist known as a "stand up tragedian," has released his latest track, 'A IS FOR AFRICA'. This collaboration with producer Kwes Darko is a powerful expression of Hull's political stance, adding to the lineage of alphabetic play in hip hop. The song dropped on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, marking the 60th anniversary of the death of Una Marson, a Jamaican feminist, activist, and the first Black woman to work for the BBC.

'A IS FOR AFRICA' is accompanied by a monochrome music video, directed by Hull with creative direction from Akira-Kai Kitazono and Josh Renaut. The performance is described as frantic and visceral, highlighting Hull's unique talent. This track also signifies the beginning of a sonic partnership with Darko, as they explore the sound of mania within the Black British experience.

Hull aims for the song to be accessible to everyone, including children. 'A IS FOR AFRICA' is Hull's debut release on the Young label, joining artists like Sampha and FKA twigs. This release marks a new chapter in Hull's career, following his performances and collaborations.
